I have been busy getting ready for the worm festival. You may hear commercials on the radio. Also a radio interview that starts with my music.
I also did an interview with ABC27 with Snap from the Dirty Jobs episode on Discovery Channel. We are promoting this festival. Snap and I go way way back. We played music together in the Congregational Holiness Church in Sopchoppy when we were young. Snap played guitar and I played the drums. Other family members also played instruments and sang. My mother played piano and still does to this day. They have all inspired us to continue to make music.
I posted a video of Kenzie from the news gruntin’ worms and it has passed 1 MILLION views! My social media is growing like crazy!
People love worm gruntin. I’m telling you our culture is special, unique and absolutely amazing. It is a family tradition for us but it is amazingly interesting to others. I cannot wait until April 12! The Worm grunting festival is going to be so much fun!
March 14 I will be doing a worm grunting demonstration at the Crooked Creek Lighthouse in Carabelle beach at 5 p.m. It is a worm moon and I’m excited to show them how we do it!
March 22 I will be DJ’ing the Panacea beer and oyster festival. That should be fun and I’m glad to add a Panacea festival to my calendar.
Thank you to everyone that has been following me on social media sites and reading my Sopchoppy News. I also appreciate everyone that listens to my music. Thank you all so very much!
Sending Love from Sopchoppy, Florida!
