Joanne Larson, a paraprofessional at Riversprings Middle School working with Exceptional Student Education, has been named the Wakulla Schools Employee of the Year.
Larson has been at Riversprings for four years.
RMS Principal Joshua Sandgren wrote of Larson: “Joanne has a calling in her life and that calling is working with young people.”
Outside the classroom, Larson volunteers with Special Olympics as a bowling coach.
