Friends of Library hold annual Mardi Gras celebration February 7, 2024 / William Snowden Photos by William Snowden A big crowd was on hand Saturday night for the Friends of the Library’s annual Mardi Gras fundraiser at the community center. It featured jambalaya from Harry’s in Tallahassee, lots of masks, and swing and jazz music by the Thursday Music Club, above. Sheriff Jared Miller, in crown and cape as King of the Mardi Gras, with library director Linda Oaks.
