A drowning was reported Saturday in St. Marks.
The victim was reported as a while male, 30 years old, from Gadsden County.
Reportedly, nearby boaters saw the man fall into the water near the lighthouse. He was pulled from the water and taken to the lighthouse boat ramp.
According to the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office, an emergency call was received before 8 a.m.
Some good Samaritans brought the victim to the dock and emergency responders attempted CPR, but the victim died, according to the sheriff’s office.
