The annual BlueWater Realty Faith-Based Scholarship is offered to assist students in achieving their educational goals while preserving and promoting Christian values in our community.
$7,000 in cash scholarships were awarded to four Wakulla County students who competed and placed in this essay-based scholarship. This year’s essay topic was As a student, how can you use your influence to impact your school for Jesus Christ? In addition to BlueWater Realty, several local businesses and organizations contributed including the Fellowship Of Companies For Christ International, Gene Cutchin Construction, MTL Designs, Keith Key Heating & Air, The Sights and Sounds Company, and Blackwater Septic Services. 1st place receiving $2,500: Averey Baker; 2nd place receiving $2,000: Emma Dykes; 3rd place receiving $1,500: Ryliegh Davis; 4th place receiving $1,000: Kathryn Taffe.
