from Superintendent of Schools Bobby Pearce

Welcome back to all Wakulla students for the 2024-25 school year!
The teachers, administrators and staff are all looking forward to seeing our returning students and to welcoming the new ones to our system in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and other grades where students have just moved into our school district.

I look forward to another successful school year with the best students, parents, and educators in the state. The teamwork contributes to making our school system one of the best in Florida and in the nation. Our continued success remains dependent on this special relationship.
As we begin this new year, our ability to work together as a community will be critical. Compassion, grace, courtesy and understanding will be essential traits that we all must display if we are to successfully open school and work towards the safety of everyone involved in educating our students.
There will be many challenges for all of us as we work together to ensure a quality educational experience for all of our students. Even the best-made plans do not always go as smoothly as we would hope. Remaining calm and focused on a safe re-opening will be our goal!
The one thing that I know about our great county is the dedication of our citizens to our students and our school system as a whole. I am confident we will be successful working together.
Wakulla County is a special place made up of special people! With such a value placed on education and a motto of “Committed to Success,” we hope that 2024-25 is your best year yet despite these unprecedented times!
Sincerely,

Bobby Pearce
Superintendent
