Staff Report
During the primary election on Aug. 20, five Wakulla Rotarians raised their right hands and were sworn in to play a vital role in assisting our county as poll workers at the Cedar Avenue polling site.
While we received training for this role, we were not prepared for the gratitude that we received from the voters that came in waves all day long. With smiles on our faces, we ensured the process was seamless as possible from greeting the voters to instructing them on how to submit their ballots.
We were even paid a visit by Supervisor of Elections Joe Morgan, himself a Rotarian, and he personally thanked us for being there and serving our county.
