With Hurricane Helene bearing down on St. Marks a few weeks ago and residents bracing for impacts, new St. Marks City Manager Katherine Gatewood was also preparing – but to her dismay discovered the city has no disaster plan for employees, no vendor list to turn to for emergency help.
