The Sopchoppy Homemakers Club celebrated its 50th year with a special event held in the Fellowship Hall of the United Methodist Church on Thursday, Sept. 11th. The Sopchoppy City Council and several local businesses were in attendance at the celebration.

This week is Homecoming against FAMU

The Wakulla War Eagles had a much-needed bye week to refocus after going 1-2 in the first three weeks of the season.
After a season-opening win against the Leon Lions, the War Eagles stumbled against the Taylor Bulldogs, giving them their first back-to-back wins against Wakulla, and the Chiles Timberwolves, giving them their first ever win against the War Eagles.

Janice Brown 90th birthday

Janice Pelt Brown is celebrating her 90th birthday on Sept. 21st at Wildwood Seineyard from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Janice was born Sept. 12th, 1935, and raised in Crawfordville. She has lived here most of her 90 years. She also lived other places around the globe, such as Tripoli, Libya, due to her now-late husband, Lonnie Brown being in the U.S. Air Force and traveling extensively during his time in Korea and Vietnam.
