Rick Myhre has been acting as superintendent since he won the election back in August.
He said then, as superintendent-elect, that he felt it was still the term of Superintendent Bobby Pearce, who had stepped back to give Myhre a chance to begin implementing changes.
The county commission had two new members sworn in to office last week: Valerie Russell and Josh Lawhon.
