Thursday, September 10
- The Rotary Club of Wakulla County meets at the TSC Wakulla Center at 8:30 a.m.
- Line dancing is 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Women’s Club. 6:30 to 8 for beginners. $10.
- The VFW Auxiliary Bingo Night will be held at 7 p.m. at 475 Arran Road in Crawfordville, every Thursday. There are concessions and raffles.
- Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 6:30 p.m. every Thursday at 54 Ochlockonee St.
Friday, September 11
- A 9/11 memorial ceremony will be held in the sheriff’s office parking lot beginning at 8:30 a.m.
- Wakulla War Eagles travel to Santa Rosa County to take on the Pace Patriots at 7:30 p.m. CDT.
- Echo and Vibe Gong Experience will be held at Palaver Tree Theater from 7 to 10 p.m. Advance tickets $25 or $30 at the door.
- 16th annual Rock the Dock fishing tournament, sponsored by Panacea Waterfronts, will be held over the weekend. Three divisions: offshore, inshore and youth. To register, go to visitpanacea.org.

Saturday, September 12
- Sopchoppy Depot Days will be held in Sopchoppy from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. See story on Page 3 for details.
- Threads Through Time, a presentation of the Wakulla Historical Society, will be held at the Crawfordville Women’s Club from 2 to 5 p.m.
Sunday, September 13
- Wakulla Giving Hands food giveaway every Sunday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the facility across from Medart Elementary on Highway 98. Line up begins at 11 a.m.
- Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at 54 Ochlockonee St.

Monday, September 14
- School board meets at 5:45 p.m. at the district office.
- Planning Commission meets in the commission chambers at 6 p.m.
- Sopchoppy City Commission meets at city hall at 6:30 p.m.
- The Wakulla Respite Program is available for anyone with memory impairment at no cost from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lake Ellen Baptist Church every Monday.
- Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 6 p.m. for women and 8 p.m. for men every Monday at 54 Ochlockonee St.
- Gentle Yoga and Stetching Class with Margaret every Monday at 11 a.m. First Baptist Church CLC Building in Crawfordville. Bring a mat.
Tuesday, September 15
- Sarracenia Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society meets at the Wakulla County Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Chuck Hess will present a program on Trends in Vegetation, Prescribed Fire and the Landscape Trap in the Apalachicola National Forest. - Chamber Lunch and Learn on disaster preparedness will be held at the new Emergency Operations Center behind the sheriff’s office from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Lunch is $15 for Chamber members; $25 for non-members. To register, call (850) 926-1848.
