Former Wakulla War Eagle football players Feleipe and Jordan Franks hosted their second annual football camp on Saturday at the War Eagle Football field.
More than 100 athletes signed up for the free camp and to enjoy athletics, football contests, a meal donated by Lindyโ€™s Chicken, and a draw string back pack souvenir to bring home memories of the event.

Wakulla County Administration recently hosted an infrastructure meeting to inform and educate the Wakulla community on infrastructure investments in relation to the grant funding and utilization of tax dollars to afford and sustain future upgrades to the county.

Salute to Our Veterans event held Friday, Saturday

A Salute to our Veterans event was held at the Wakulla County Community Center on both Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22, to provide services such as medical, dental, eye care, veterans services, counseling, financial literacy, haircuts, music and more. The event was hosted by Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary Post 4538 and was open to all Veterans and their families.

A three-day art event was held at Wakulla Springs Lodge wrapping visitors in the beauty and inspiration of the natural surroundings. Live painting, a craft show and auction was enjoyed with proceeds benefitting the Friends of Wakulla Springs State Park.

4-H District III Public Speaking Contest was held May 4th at the Wakulla County Extension Office in Crawfordville. Participants in the contest are winners from their respective school located in Leon, Jefferson, Gadsden, Franklin Wakulla, Liberty, and Gulf counties.
