The energy was electric as Wakulla Countyโ€™s 4-H members stepped into the bustling halls of the North Florida Fair this November. For these young competitors, the fair wasnโ€™t just an eventโ€”it was a stage to showcase months of creativity, learning, and hard work. And this year, they didnโ€™t just show upโ€”they made history.

Preview of upcoming wrestling season

In his first season as Head Coach, Nate Litowsky led the 2024-25 War Eagles to a 22-6 record in dual meets, including significant wins over Suwannee (42-5), Yulee (22-8), 3A Buchholz (14-4), and a pair of wins each over Florida High (8-6) and 3A Steinbrenner (28-4). Wakulla also qualified 6 wrestlers for the FHSAA State Tournament. Their accomplishments were remarkable, considering half of the team consisted of six underclassmen and one wrestler who had no prior wrestling experience.
