City hall has black mold

St. Marks City Manager Katherine Gatewood

St. Marks City Hall has black mold, according to City Manager Katherine Gatewood.
For the foreseeable future, city commission meetings will be held at the St. Marks Yacht Club, Gatewood said. (The city commission meeting set for Thursday, March 13 has been cancelled.)
She is ordering a mobile office โ€“ a jobsite trailer โ€“ that is expected to be delivered in abou 10 days.

23 dogs seized in two incidents

Five seized at home off Ace High Stables; 18 seized from bus in Crawfordville

The Wakulla County Sheriffโ€™s Office and Wakulla Animal Control were involved in two different incidents last week in which a number of dogs were seized.
On Tuesday, Feb. 25, the sheriffโ€™s office was alerted to possible abuse of dogs at a home on Walden Way, off Ace High Stables in a TikTok video also posted to Facebook.
