St. Marks City Hall has black mold, according to City Manager Katherine Gatewood.
For the foreseeable future, city commission meetings will be held at the St. Marks Yacht Club, Gatewood said. (The city commission meeting set for Thursday, March 13 has been cancelled.)
She is ordering a mobile office โ a jobsite trailer โ that is expected to be delivered in abou 10 days.

The Wakulla County Sheriffโs Office and Wakulla Animal Control were involved in two different incidents last week in which a number of dogs were seized.
On Tuesday, Feb. 25, the sheriffโs office was alerted to possible abuse of dogs at a home on Walden Way, off Ace High Stables in a TikTok video also posted to Facebook.

Guerry Wayne Hertz was sentenced to death last week by Wakulla Circuit Judge Layne Smith.
Hertz was convicted in 1999 of the home invasion murders of Keith Spears and Melanie King back in 1997.
