Sex offender arrested after attending school event

The Wakulla County Sheriffโ€™s Office arrested a registered sex offender last week after he reportedly was on a local school campus for an event while children were present and did not notify school officials prior to his attendance.
Joshua Martin, 39, was arrested on Sept. 16 on a warrant by the WCSO Crime Suppression Unit and booked into the Wakulla County Jail.

After dropping two games in a row, the Wakulla War Eagles evened their record to 2-2 with a thumping of the FAMU DRS Rattlers on Friday.
It was a โ€œget rightโ€ game, with Wakulla going up 48-6 by halftime.

9/11 Remembered

The Wakulla County Sheriffโ€™s Office held its annual memorial service to honor those who died in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11th.
