Wakulla 4-H members have been volunteering for the International Coastal Clean Up and other Keep Wakulla County Beautiful (KWCB) events since 2017.
In 2024, 4-H county council members decided to adopt a road.
Memorial Day was observed with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony on the courthouse grounds on Monday, May 26. A crowd of about 75 attended the event.

Stuart Mauney, who was charged with killing a man in the Purify Bay Road area back in December 2021, was found guilty of second degree murder after a two-day trial last week.
It took the six-person jury only 20 minutes to deliberate and return the guilty verdict.
