It was probably the most exciting four quarters of scoreless football you could watch.
Then, for the second week in a row, Wakulla went to double overtime – but this time, the Wakulla War Eagles came out on top, 13-7 for the win – and the crown as district champion.

On Sunday, Oct. 12, the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Allison Hatton, 73, for attempted murder.
On that day, a 69-year-old relative of Hatton was awakened by him repeatedly stabbing her in the chest and neck with a kitchen knife.
Hatton was interrupted by a second adult relative, who managed to get the knife away from him.

Inspectors, agents and analysts with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement partnered with the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations in the arrest of 10 sexual offenders and sexual predators for violations of Florida law.
