TALLAHASSEE – Florida senators returned to the Capitol this week to receive overviews as they prepare for the 2025 legislative session.
A big part of their job during the session will be to craft a budget for the fiscal year that will start July 1. And the Florida Supreme Court added to the budget puzzle this week when it called for creating 50 new judgeships across the state.
You may notice that The Wakulla Sun’s website is undergoing some changes and it may have some minor issues. For example, the new login system may not load saved passwords. The Rotary Club of Wakulla, joined by Cone Distributing and local Realtors, took part in a bed build on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the sheriff’s maintence yard to build 25 bunk beds for kids who don’t have beds.
