A new Wakulla County Public Library is in the works.
The facility will be built at the countyโ€™s community center property at the corner of Shadeville Hwy. and Trice lane.

Groundbreaking for the new library is Monday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m.

Legislative delegation meets

Members of the Wakulla legislative delegation were in Crawfordville on Friday afternoon to listen to issues of local concern.
The delegation โ€“ Rep. Jason Shoaf, R-Port St. Joe, and Sen. Cory Simon, R-Tallahassee โ€“ held the meeting to hear requests before the start of the legislative session in January. Rep. Shoaf conducted the meeting, and Sen. Simon appeared by telephone as he was recouperating from back surgery.
