Breaking: Winn-Dixie Crawfordville deceased person in car.

Wakulla County Sheriff’s deputies were at the Winn-Dixie parking lot on Wednesday around 4 p.m. investigating a death.

According to the sheriff’s office, there was a report of a possibly deceased person in a car in the grocery store parking lot.

“Deputies have confirmed the individual is deceased,” the sheriff’s office reported. “Nothing at this point to indicate any sort of crime or public interest other than it occurred in the parking lot.”

Because it’s an active investigation, the sheriff’s office could not comment further.
