The Coastal Optimist Club enjoyed their lunch at Myra Jeans on Thursday, March 20 while Brandon Geiger, Assistant Planning Director for Wakulla County, presented updates about our fast growing community on residential housing and commercial developments.
According to Geiger, the most recent subdivisions under construction at this time are The Flowers subdivision located off Bloxham Cutoff Road by Ben Boynton Construction, phases 2-4, it will have 60 units; Pleasant Ridge by Pafford Construction located off Martin Luther King Road, it will accommodate 96 units; Misty Springs is also underway by D.R. Horton Homes off Council Moore Road and will add 74 more homes.

Wakulla Community Theaterโs production of โ9 to 5 โ The Musicalโ was incredible!
If you didnโt see it last weekend, you have another chance on Saturday night, March 15th, at 7 p.m. and the Sunday matinee at 3 p.m. at the historic Sopchoppy auditorium.



The Wakulla Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting on Feb. 20 with builder D.R. Hortonโs newest community in Crawfordville, Misting Springs, under construction.
