Apparently the town of St. Marks did not profit from the decline of Magnolia.
According to an article in the July 1876 issue of the Semitropical Magazine, St. Marks, in expectation of having the railroad and the resultant prosperity, laid out new streets, built some fine residences, planted fine gardens and set out shade trees to add to its attractions.

Business owner arrested for fraud in two counties

In a joint effort, detectives of the Leon County Sheriffโ€™s Office and the Wakulla County Sheriffโ€™s Office have successfully apprehended 48-year-old Charles Allen, the owner of Tallahassee Mobile RV Repair, following extensive investigations into fraudulent activities impacting multiple local citizens.

2 juveniles arrested after shooting school bus with air rifles

School transportation personnel and sheriffโ€™s deputies with the school bus that windows shot on Thursday afternoon. One child was injured by broken glass.

The Wakulla County Sheriffโ€™s Office arrested two juveniles, ages 11 and 15, for shooting into an occupied conveyance and criminal mischief following the shooting of a school bus.

On Thursday, Feb. 1, the Wakulla County Moose Lodge 2510 in Panacea was honored to welcome Sandy and Harry Johnston from Moose International.
Sandy currently serves as a member of the Moose International Board of Directors. Sandy was the first female to be elected to the board in 133 years of existence.
