Office spent $230,000 in 2021 on an appraisal system that didn’t work. Then had to spend another $240,000 for a new system that did.

The Wakulla County Property Appraiser’s Office spent some $230,000 in 2021 and 2022 to purchase a computer-assisted mass appraisal system from a company called Vision.
When the system didn’t work, the office bought another system in 2023 from a company called GSA for $241,520.

Shadeville reunion held

Shadeville High School (1934-1967) Alumni and Friends Association held its 19th school reunion Aug. 3-4 with a banquet Friday night at the Buckhorn Community Center and ending with a church service at the New Bridge Hope Missionary Baptist Church in the Shadeville community – Elder Derick Howard, pastor.
