Wakulla 4-H holds Teen Fitness camp

This summer, Wakulla 4-H partnered with Sunchaser Fitness, the UF/IFAS Family Nutrition Program, the Wakulla County Coalition for Youth, and the Florida Center for Prevention Research at Florida State University to offer a new, teen-focused camp.

New firetruck

Wakulla County’s new firetruck was officially put on the line last week with a ceremonial push-in to the fire station on Friday at the station on Trice Lane. Along with county Fire Rescue personnel were state Sen. Corey Simon and aides from Rep. Jason Shoaf’s office, along with four county commissioners. The truck is now in service. Franks brothers hold free football camp

Former Wakulla War Eagle football players Feleipe and Jordan Franks hosted their second annual football camp on Saturday at the War Eagle Football field.
More than 100 athletes signed up for the free camp and to enjoy athletics, football contests, a meal donated by Lindy’s Chicken, and a draw string back pack souvenir to bring home memories of the event.
