The state budget includes $3.7 million for Conservation Florida to buy 224 acres at the intersection of U.S. 319 and Bloxham Cutoff, the site of a planned 16-pump gas station, car wash and convenience store located over the underground Chip’s Hole Cavern to flows to Wakulla Springs.

All alumnus of Wakulla High School’s original classes of 1968 and ‘69 are invited to take part in a photo at the school on March 22 at 4 p.m.

Susan Vickers, a senior planner in Wakulla County Planning and Community Development Department, was named the county’s employee of the quarter.

County commissioners hosted a public meeting on Songbird intersection improvements on Thursday, March 7, at the Wakulla County Community Center.
