Cookies, crafts, face painting, and the Easter Bunny were the highlights for JOY-Filled Journeys’ holiday event held at The Lodge at Wakulla Springs on Thursday, April 10th.
Continue readingOn April 10th, the 2025 All Big Bend Wrestling Team was announced. Four Wakulla wrestlers joined the most elite in the area as they were named First Team All Big Bend: Emma Riggs, Kendal Haynie, Matthew Thaxton and Nate Jacobs were all First Team selections at their respective weights. Julia Baggett, Aaron Robinson, Austin Ryals, and Blake Barodte made the second team. Receiving honorable mention were: Patrick Cooksey, William Harvey, Caleb Thompson, Colt Sanders, Clayton Manzi, and Wyatt Brown.

The Wakulla Quilters Guild invites the community to its upcoming 2025 Celebration of Quilts Show, set to take place Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26.
This two-day event will be held at the Wakulla County Library, 4330 Crawfordville Highway, Crawfordville.
Doors will open to the public on Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and best of all, admission is free.

Continue readingOn Saturday, the Wakulla High School Interact Club will hold a Spring Toward Peace event starting with a run at 8 a.m. from Azalea Park. After the race, at 10 a.m., the event moves to Hudson Park with a $3 admission for music, food trucks, and stage performances. Event concludes at 2 p.m.
