In a highly contentious hearing last month, Wakulla Circuit Judge Layne Smith told the lawyers in the case that he should order the courtroom bailiff to draw his gun and shoot all three.
“I really don’t want him to do that,” the judge said. “But, guys, for crying out loud, what is this, the Keystone Cops, just not very funny?”

A handful of citizens concerned about ongoing overdevelopment of homes in the county complained about the rezoning of 50 acres off Martin Luther King Memorial Drive for residential development.
