After a week of testimony, it took a 12 person jury only an hour to return a recommendation that Guerry Wayne Hertz should face the death penalty for a double murder.
Hertz, along with co-defendants Jason Looney and Jimmy Dempsey, was convicted in 1999 of the murder of Melanie King and Keith Spears that took place back in July 1997 in a home invasion robbery.
Money is for economic development to attract two businesses to Opportunity Park

The high schools of Wakulla and Suwannee have engaged in some epic battles over the course of their storied histories.
