As fans awaited the start of the FHSAA 1A District 2 Championship, the atmosphere was humming with the sounds of conversation between friends at Liberty County High School in Bristol. The anticipation began to rise as “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC pulsated through the gymnasium.

City votes to accept property

Sopchoppy city commissioners voted unanimously last week to accept the donation of the old Sopchoppy School buildings and property from the Wakulla County School Board.
