On July 12-13, Kendal Haynie competed in the 2025 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota. The competition, known simply as Fargo in wrestling circles, is the largest wrestling tournament in the world and is widely considered to be among the toughest in the United States. Haynie went 7-2 over the course of the competition, placing 4th en route to achieving All American status.

The Florida Department of Education has officially released school and district grades for the 2024–2025 academic year, and Wakulla County School District is proud to announce it has once again earned an “A” rating – for the third year in a row.
Wakulla remains the highest-performing school district in the Big Bend region and is now ranked 11th overall among all 67 Florida school districts, reinforcing its commitment to academic excellence.
