A Gadsden-based company, CDS Manufacturing, has filed a lawsuit against former St. Marks City Commissioner Richard Chichetti claiming he and his wife went to the company’s Gretna facility and took photos – and then warned city officials of possible problems if the city went through with selling the old Seminole Refinery site to CDS.

The state Department of Revenue has issued a post-roll analysis that found issues with the 2022 and 2023 tax rolls and “selective reappraisals” for improved residential properties.

Another forum for county commission candidates will be held Tuesday, July 30, at the library at 6 p.m.
