As part of the negotations for an extended contract with Waste Pro for garbage service to county residents, the curbside recycling program will end this week.
Waste Pro reported that fewer than 20% of county residents took advantage of the service.

Led by Dr. Chrisopher Werner, who is an experienced explorer, researcher, and filmmaker who chronicles scientific research in insightful documentaries.

The Wakulla War Eagles got themselves where they want to be: a winning record and a win over district rival Suwannee.
The War Eagles are 3-2 and 1-0 in the district with Friday night’s 30-23 win over the Bulldogs.
The quarterly Joy-ful Journeys events for special needs kids was held a couple of weeks ago – Saturday, Sept. 20 – at the Wakulla Springs Lodge, and was an opportunity to have fun.

In today’s fractured media environment, trust is the rarest commodity. Confidence in “the media” is low. Only 18% of Americans say they trust news on social platforms, and fewer than one in four trust cable networks. But nearly two-thirds say they trust their local newspaper—more than double the confidence placed in most other outlets.
