Joseph Williams, a 104-year-old World War II veteran, was at Palaver Tree Theater on Saturday talking about his experiences with Robert Manning. Williams is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Taylor Thorne, A senior at Wakulla High, has committed to attending Harvard University in the fall. This achievement will make her the first person to attend Harvard from Wakulla High, and the second person to attend an Ivy League from Wakulla High.

Nurse sharks move

Gulf Specimen’s sharks are now residents of the New York Aquarium

Cypress Rudloe and Hunter Eichler with nurse sharks at Gulf Specimen Marine Lab. Some of the nurse sharks at the lab had grown too large for Gulf Specimen’s tanks and were moved to the New York Aquarium.
