The energy was electric as Wakulla County’s 4-H members stepped into the bustling halls of the North Florida Fair this November. For these young competitors, the fair wasn’t just an event—it was a stage to showcase months of creativity, learning, and hard work. And this year, they didn’t just show up—they made history.

The state Board of Education and Education Commissioner Anastasios Kamoutsas were in Crawfordville last week for the board’s November meeting, held at the Wakulla district office’s auditorium.
The meeting was held Thursday, Nov. 13.

The Wakulla County Historical Society held a reunion on Tuesday, Nov. 11, for those who attended the old St. Marks School. The eldest attendee of the event was 92-year-old, Davis Raker.

The Sopchoppy City Commission presented Landscaping Maintenance Guidelines for the Florida Native Plant Society’s volunteers who maintain the garden in the Sopchoppy Depot at the meeting on Monday, Nov. 10.
