The excitement of traveling hundreds of miles from home and competing on a national level is a feeling like no other. 4-H member Nina “Libby” Justice experienced firsthand exactly what that feels like and how far hard work and dedication can take you. After winning a blue ribbon on the county level and securing second place while competing at the 4-H State Horse Show in June, Libby qualified to present her Illustrated Talk titled “Horse Coat Genetics: Colors, Patterns & Textures” in Kentucky at the Eastern National 4-H Horse Roundup.
